# Ruth Bancroft Garden – Walnut Creek CA – May 2025

Yes, that’s right.  A second visit to the [Bancroft Garden](https://www.ruthbancroftgarden.org) in less than two weeks.

This time we ran across a hummingbird nest, with the usual two babies outgrowing it rapidly and just hanging out there, not making a move or a sound.

I cannot say enough just how amazing this place is, and if I lived closer I would probably just get a travel trailer and go spend time there every chance I got.  I wouldn’t even bother going home lol…
