# Orchid Mania at DBG – Spring 2025

## “Wow.”

Literally every person, including myself, had a one word – IMMEDIATE – comment upon turning the corner from the vestibule into the exhibit.

My next thought was, “I can kill everything in here in less than a month”, and then I figured, ok, actually I could probably keep the cacti and succulents alive for a bit longer.  It was just an overwhelming display of plant porn.

It’s not like we would expect to see orchids at the [Desert Botanical Garden](https://dbg.org), kind of outside the typecast, but I absolutely loved it.
