description: LACMA. La Brea. Typical LA visit stuff. LACMA is such a monster of a museum, there's gotta be stuff here for nearly everyone. And some deadstock denim.

# LACMA and La Brea Tar Pits

I can’t remember the last time I went to La Brea.  It’s still cool though.

And LACMA will still be the one museum in LA that charges you to get in, since their recips program is just plain suck.  There’s a reason we support museums and gardens at the level we do, normally I skip the ones that don’t participate, but it’s a great museum, so sometimes you just gotta suck it up. Ed Ruscha is worth the price of admission.

Haha, I just realized there are a couple of pics of the warehouse in DTLA where I get deadstock selvedge denim.  Send me an email if you want the details.
