So the fact that very quietly, almost without anyone noticing, the number of podcast series in the iTunes list had surpassed 325,000 – with the number of actives being more than 60,000 – means that NO ONE IS GOING TO RANDOMLY FIND YOUR PODCAST and start listening to it.
If you are one of the thousands of entrepreneurs who is exploring the use of a podcast as a marketing tool, don’t be surprised when find that it’s like webinars were back in ’14 or Hangouts around that same time frame. While a large number of people know about doing it, not that many people actually are doing it well, doing it right, or seeing all that for results.
