# CACSS Show & Sale at Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix

## This was my second time at the CACSS Show & Sale at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix.

Last year I randomly stumbled across the show on the [DBG](https://dbg.org) calendar, and it was such a great event that I joined the society.  This year I volunteered to help with setup, and this is a photo dump from the earlier part of the day.  I learned a LOT – there are some people in the society who maybe have every Latin name for every succulent memorized, just amazing.

I already had plans for the rest of the week so I didn’t get to see the entire show; one of the more prolific submitters had some absolutely beautiful compositions (although I heard maybe the composition shouldn’t get so much of the attention compared to the actual specimens lol…)
