Mickalene Thomas at The Broad.
So yeah, in addition to that gorgeous architecture, the permanent Yayoi Kusama Infinity Room, the brilliant contemporary art in the permanent collections (Haring, Condo, Basquiat, Ruscha, etc etc etc), we went to check out the most amazing Mickalene Thomas show.
If you can catch it somewhere else, I’d go with highly recommend. Electric and moving. We managed to squeak in there the last week before it closed.
