It’s not that there isn’t a way to hack a Mac, because there is, and has been for a long time.

However, the number of Macs out there have made it less than profitable when you compare the opportunities that Windows, WordPress or Linux offer hackers.  Remember, there’s no money in the solution.

I meant to post this a few weeks ago when I first ran across it, but it slipped my mind and I just noticed it sitting there in the Read Me pile a few minutes ago.

The file — which installs a copy of HackingTeam’s Remote Code Systems compromise platform — was originally reported by Pedro Vilaça, a security researcher from Sentinel One, and confirmed by Mac security expert Patrick Wardle of Synack.
